Iconic American photographer, George Tice, has completed his most recent fine art volume. The resulting book, entitled Seldom Seen, is a 128-page legacy piece featuring 100 images that, until now, have never been published. As a large-format photographer, George Tice has received international acclaim for his landscape work and is considered one of the great photographers of the 20th century. The Picture that Remains

    The Print Center, located in Philadelphia, recently collaborated with photographer Will Brown and poet Thomas Devaney to publish The Picture that Remains, a collection of Brown’s work from the early 1970s accompanied by several of Devaney’s writings. Martha Vaughn’s newest book on press

Photographer Martha Vaughn recently spent two days at Brilliant Graphics while her newest book, entitled Of Time and Place, was on press.  Martha spent the two days here along with Jill Guthrie, former editor for Princeton University Museum, watching as the book was printed and learning about the production process. The team at Brilliant Graphics worked closely with both Martha and Jill throughout the entire process from design to finished book.  Designer Kathy Williams handled the design of the book while our team ensured that the color of Martha’s images was accurately reproduced during printing.

Behind The Scenes: George Tice on Press

  Brilliant staff recently worked with George Tice during the production of his new book, ‘Seldom Seen’.  This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity would be the dream of any lover of photography and we took full advantage of the opportunity to work with a living legend of the photographic world. Studio technician, Andy Marchese scanned all of the images from George’s original, fine fiber prints.  CEO Bob Tursack converted the files to quadtone separations, and Director of Special Projects, Peter Philbin worked side-by-side with George on the computer to edit and optimize his images for the pressroom. Brilliant Captures Gold in Sappi’s “Printers of the Year” Awards

The winning piece, entitled ‘Opening Ceremony Annual Magazine’, is a 287 page, full-color, perfect-bound book printed on Galerie Art Silk paper. The cover and spine feature gold foil stamping and a soft touch aqueous coating. The annual magazine is filled with designer clothing, fashion photography and illustrations—all featured  in a sports theme with a contemporary edge. Award-Winning Photographer Michael Furman Visits Brilliant Graphics

  Automotive photographer Michael Furman recently visited Brilliant Graphics to watch as his newest book, Automotive Jewelry: Volume One, was on press.
